  • DGS is my go to place for firearm purchases! I've never not a once seen, heard or sniffed even a hint of the gun store commando attitude there that plagues so many gun shops. My most recent purchase was via their online store. It was a wee bit more (literally five bucks) than the cheapest local shop and that would have had to be purchased online as well. When they say discount they mean it as other than this purchase they have always had the lowest price, sometimes by 3 figures. Seriously. Sherri e-mailed me early on a Monday morning after I'd placed my order the night before. She let me know that my order would ship from the warehouse that day and should arrive on Thursday. It was a pleasant surprise receiving an e-mail 2 days later on Wednesday asking that I call or e-mail to schedule an appointment to pick up my new pew as it had arrived. My purchase prior to the online one was in store. Before Sherri rang me up a gentleman helping another customer purchasing the same firearm told her to honor a sale price that had expired the day before that I was unaware of. An already low price dropped down $20? Another pleasant surprise! If they had a larger selection of ammo I would give them an A+++. I guess the fine folks at DGS will just have to settle for an A++!
