I was on my way back from California and was looking for a Dillards to catch the New years day Sale at. Despite all of the negative comments, I thought this would be an ideal choice due to its location from the freeway. I was appauled with the service that I received. From the moment I step foot in this store the workers were speaking Spanish to one another and yelling across the store at each other. There were groups of workers standing together in each department. I felt hesitant asking for help as it was intimidating approaching the group of people speaking another language. When I did ask for help the workers seemed very annoyed and directed me to go to a different department to ask for help. When I went to the specific department to ask my question, no one knew how to answer it. They would go ask someone else. It got to the point where I didn't even want to ask for help since it was apparent that it would be more of a hassle. I overheard one worker upstairs tell the other, "I don't care if they fire me". I have never been to a store so unprofessional. I would recommend that the hiring process for this store to be better organized and management should pre-screen potential candidates thoroughly before hiring someone who is just capable rather than motivated.
