| - This is really about the experience, and not about the ice cream. You choose the ice cream base flavor, and the mix-ins, then you watch as they pour the base onto an anti griddle, and chop in the mix-ins, then smooth it out over the griddle, and shave it off the griddle in rolls--then top with sauces, whip cream, etc. It's sweet and cold, but the manipulation of the ice cream takes away some of its essential creaminess, so if you're just out for the ice cream, you can do better with a pint of Haagen daaz. But it's fun and different, and you should go once. Be prepared to drop 7 bucks per serving. If you love ice cream you'll want your own, otherwise I recommend sharing with someone. As usual, parking in Lawrenceville can be tricky, so be prepared for that. Also, when we went, the line took about 10-15 minutes to get through, because it takes longer to prepare. And there is no seating, so prepare to sit outside or stroll.
