Hubby and I came here for a saucy weekend away from home. We also love Hotel Germain as they are super dog friendly and allow bigger dogs like our 60 lb Amstaff to stay for a nominal fee of $35. We checked around at other hotels (who shall remain nameless) and they all only allow dogs or cats 25 lbs or under, but who's gonna bring a 25lb cat along for a naughty weekend??
They really go all out to spoil the dogs at Hotel Germain as they get their own food/ water bowls and a little care package with treats and their own doggie bed. It was so cute as the hotel mistakingly gave us a mini toy dog sized bed, and our 60lb baby still slept in it even when they brought a replacement big bed just for her!
The interior of our Luxury Room was spacious (at 475 sq feet) and gorgeous with high ceilings modern wood panelling and a plush king sized bed outfitted with egyptian cotton sheets.
My favorite is the bathroom with a sexy shower/bath with a full glass pane that faces the bed with blinds (open of course!) so you can get your rub-a-dub live shower show on. Our dog was not impressed!!
Hubby took advantage of a special "Romantic Weekend" promo offered from Germain which for $375 (taxes inclusive) included a voucher for discounted dining at the Victor Restaurant. It was a sweet deal complete with Champagne chilled in ice, fancy little package of condoms (x2 + lube!!!), a good sized green tea scented soy candle plus a healthy serving of strawberries dipped in chocolate which we tried to erotically feed each other "91/2 weeks" style, but klutzily ended up smearing chocolate all over the sheets...I felt bad and left a good tip plus a note for housekeeping that read
"Don't worry... it's only chocolate"
My only complaint was the outside noise as it was a Saturday and 905ers partied loud at Rockwood & Grass across the street. I guess technically we weren't there to sleep anyway...
Our Dog gives it four paws up!
