| - We've been loyal guests for many years, first when visiting Vegas, and now for our parties and staycations. In the beginning it was picture-perfect: spotlessly clean, great customer service, very quiet non-smoking setting. We stayed there to get away from annoyances of daily life - to sink into snow-white sheets, to enjoy fresh air and clean lines everywhere.
Last couple of times we've stayed, our experience was underwhelming. The biggest problem is cleanliness went downhill. My husband teased me when I pointed out dirty rugs in the elevator and finger prints on the doors. I own a cleaning company so can be somewhat critical in that respect. However, with the modern, minimalistic look of the hotel, each surface really has to look perfect. As it used to!
Customer service is still good: friendly and attentive. The location is still awesome obviously - it's nice to be able to walk to a park or hangout at the pool area. I don't think we will be staying there again, as much as I used to love it. Oh, and I believe it would be nice if management or PR person evaluated and responded to guests' reviews on Yelp - most importantly - addressed the underlying issues.
