  • Oh Kabul, what happened? Back in the day, you were one of my favorite spots delivering quality service and food that was some of the best in Madison. Fast forward to now and it's a shell of it's former self. Service was molasses-like throughout the meal and with only 2 other tables occupied, inexcusable. We ordered sambosas as an appetizer and they arrived rather dry, desperately needing the accompanying dipping sauce. All 3 of our dishes also suffered from severe blandness. Where is the punch of flavor and spices that they used to have? The worst was my dish-lamb sabsi chalow. Other than the lamb being tender, it was a complete miss. I can overlook a bad dish but given that everything about our experience was forgettable, I don't see a return visit.
