| - Overview:
Went here for a pre-employment drug test. The first time (yes, I had to go twice) I arrive with 45 minutes left in my appointment time, but they kept me waiting so long that time was up when I was finally called. My potential employer was ticked to say the least and I almost lost the job before I even started. I convinced them to try again, and this time I only had to wait an hour and a half before being called and checked in.
Details:
The office is totally disorganized with a lot of staff just hanging around, listening to music and not doing much of anything work related. What's up with this 24 hour window? You can only show up for your test during this time. I've been through multiple background checks in the past and dozens of drug tests and I've NEVER heard of this. And it's not for security to make sure you're burning time to get all the drugs out of your system, because when I was there the first time Dakota told me I could just call my employer and they could put me back into the system right then and I can do the drug test. (Of course, that didn't work because when I called them all I got was the HR person's voice mail.) So what's the point? If one MUST be checked in, Concentra should check them in when they come into the office, not after having them wait for God-knows-how-long in the waiting room.
Bottom line:
Disorganized, insecure, ghetto, inefficient. Total waste of time.
