| - I'm thankful for Brew Tea Bar since it's one of the few authentic tea places here that's comparable to the teahouses back in SGV. I've heard that Brew Tea is the most popular boba spot in Las Vegas - they have two locations: one in Vegas and another in Henderson. I came here with a friend to study since our first choice - Bad Owl Coffee - was packed with people.
This location is located in a very big establishment. When I came here on a weekend, they had a farmer's market in one area of the parking lot. But even then, parking was not difficult at all. Despite the many stores and customers, one of the things that Las Vegas offers is ample parking. I've heard the other location on Rainbow is a bit more difficult/cramped, so I'm thankful I was at the Eastern location.
Storefront is fairly big with several tables/bar seating for people to enjoy their drinks. They do have a lot of empty space that I think can be better used. The color scheme of the interior gives off a homey vibe with the wooden walls and muted colors making it a very comfortable space to study.
As for the teas, they use quality ingredients that don't taste artificial or powdery at all. They also have crepes, slushes, latte teas, etc. While my friend stayed super unoriginal and ordered a regular boba milk tea, I tried the jasmine tea latte with boba. The price is not the cheapest for boba $3.75 for a regular size plus an additional $0.50 for boba, but I thought the taste justified the price - especially since I've had a lot of let-downs by the boba places of Las Vegas.
First of all, I really enjoyed the taste of the jasmine tea. Super pure and simple, with the right amount of sugar (I had asked for less sweet) so that I could enjoy the drink. The tea latte on top was pretty good, but I prefer a Hokkaido cream instead of a sea salt cream; however, I still enjoyed it - drinking the cream along with the tea gave the jasmine a sweeter flavor. The boba was cooked on point - chewy with a good amount in the drink.
There is Wi-Fi in the store, and the workers were pretty nice and helpful when I had questions in regards to the menu.
tl;dr - If you want quality boba/tea, I definitely recommend giving Brew Tea Bar a try. While they have slushes and milky slushes, I thought their simple teas were really good and of high quality. Will be back to try more items!
