Gorgeous.
Tranquil.
Yummy.
Here is a fabulous oasis in the desert.
Gorgeous interior design aesthetic blending the naturalness of wood and copper with the purity of white - touches of greenery add to the restfulness of the space and the hint of neon - subtlety advertises not only their name but it embraces their motto- "Take time to eat the Roses" - "Ruzes" being their last name and Czechoslovakian for "roses."
Tranquil moments spent here, having a nice chat with Katie who was at the counter on the day I popped in. I'd asked about the prickly pear macaron as I didn't see any on display and she says this to me, "I was just starting to make them, would you like one?" Um. YES!!!
Yummy!! Man, was it ever. It was one of the freshest (clearly!) and most light, delicious macaroons, with that perfect outer shell crunch. The prickly pear was done just right and I enjoyed it immensely.
Get your gorgeous, tranquil, yummy fix -I'm overjoyed that they opened a storefront. (They've been doing wedding cakes for years out of a home kitchen.)
There are other homemade treats here and beverages - boba too.
