rev:text	The ice cream is fine for those who like B-R ice cream, which I do. Having moved here from the DC area + spending a lot of time in NYC, there are a lot of B-Rs there & I got used to them. The PGH area has virtually none & went here often the first year after I moved to the North Hills area. As noted, the ice cream is fine & they have all the fixings for any ice cream treat that can be imagined. What I dis-liked about the place is how the owner operates the business. First, there's a sign that reads, essentially, Credit Cards Not Accepted, but they do take them, except for very small purchases. When I first went there, I had a B-R coupon that was not expired & not restricted to any geographic location. They wouldn't take the coupon, saying "it says it's only good at participating locations & we don't participate". Then there's their own software that automatically prints two offers at the bottom of each receipt. Staff are first instructed to ask if a receipt is wanted & if it is, they tear it from the register in such a manner that only one of the offers appears ($1 off for completing a survey). Their prices were also on the high side from what I was used to. The shop itself could use some updating as it's on one end of a 3rd rate strip shopping center. Maneuvering a car is also a bit of a challenge in limited space not very far off busy Freeport Road. I finally quit going as there are plenty of other less-expensive expensive & as-good options. Honoring coupons is generally a way to build & maintain customer loyalty, but the owner of this B-R franchise thinks otherwise. Since he survived long before I showed-up, no doubt he'll survive just fine without me.
