  • My home warranty company, American Home Shield, sent this joke of company and man out because my garage door opener stopped working -- a man named Ric. First of all, as many other reviewers have mentioned, he seems more concerned with the cleanliness of your garage than diagnosing and fixing the problem. He is rude, condescending, and arrogant. He told the home warranty company that my garage door opener broke because my rollers have not been properly maintained every six months, my tracks are loose, and the garage door is not balanced. Uh uh, excuse me? First of all, the garage door opener stopped functioning because it is old and worn out. Period! Second of all, with the violent way Ric was yanking on the tracks, I guess they would be loose. That's an easy fix. Just tighten the screws. Anyway, the warranty company denied the claim. I have owned this house and had American Home Shield for 5 years and have never had a problem with the garage door or opener. So, I asked the warranty company to send a different company for a second opinion. The new company came, said Cactus Garage didn't know what hell they were talking about, and told the home warranty company that I needed a new garage door opener. The warranty company approved the replacement of my garage door opener. Do not allow the home warranty company to send this piece of trash company, Cactus Garage Doors, to your house. You will be wasting your money. I hope you're listening. You have been warned!!!!!
