I came into the ER department around 9 am with a bad headache and felt off. They took my blood pressure and discovered it was 215/140. Stroke high. They rushed me to a room in the ER. Then a doctor peeked in half way and asked if I have a problem staying overnight. Still no explanation of what was going on. Hours and hours passed with no communication. My stats were NOT checked or monitored for up to 6 hrs at a time. My BP was dangerously high & they were more concerned with taking inventory of my wallet and cell phone and other possesions. In fact, that's all they cared about. No cell reception so I stepped outside 2 make a call and had 3 nurses and numerous security officers up my butt, ordering me back to my room. They only seemed to care when it put the hospital in some kind of legality or risk. But my health was ignored. Wife got off work to visit and was literally kicked out of the room rudely by a nurse. 30 mins later allowed her back in. Still no BP check and this is now 4pm. I was stuck for an IV numerous times and then a supervisor of nurses failed as well. My kidney doc ordered a cpap and my BP meds to be administered. I didn't get my meds until midnight and that was after the wife repeatedly insisted to the tech. Never even saw the night nurse. Was totally ignored and stressed. I have never been treated this way by health administration. Finally at 1am we asked where was the CPAP for the 10th time so I could go to sleep and I was told rudely that I wasn't getting the cpap connected. Nice of you to tell me so I didn't wait up all night until early morning. Finally after 2 am I ripped the IV out of my arm and just left. As I got on the elevator I finally met the nurse that was MIA all evening. She called my wife a liar and became very agitated and hostile. We just bounced. Thanks alot 4 nothing honor health. Oh wait, I did get a huge bill. Thanks for that.
