  • I went to Discount Tire this morning with a tire that was low on air. I had a slow leak in it, but didn't realize it until I was in Maricopa last weekend, and my tire light went on. I went to the 'other' tire place there, and was told it would be $30.00 to look at it, and fix if necessary, so I opted to just have them fill the tire with air and left. This morning the light went on again, so I stopped on my way to work to see what it would cost to diagnose and fix the problem. There was a huge line when I arrived, but Stan would look up periodically and greet everyone and let them know they were valued and appreciated for their patience. When I was next, I was greeted by Billy Diaz, who asked me what the problem was, and was just dumbfounded when I told him of my previous experience. I asked what it would cost to fix my tire, and he said there would be no charge - I'm sure the look on my face was classic! I did have to wait, as Billy explained to me that they (obviously) were busy and he had appointments coming, but I'd be done in about an hour. He took me over and showed me the tire chart, told me that other than the issue I'd come in for, that my tires were in good shape, and was I was out of there in 45 minutes! Every single person I encountered there was professional, kind, incredibly patient considering how slammed they were, and smiling! I will be moving soon to a city about 30 miles from where they are, but will gladly drive that distance for all my tire needs in the future. A very grateful customer for life - Thank You, Discount Tire!!!
