  • They ruined it! It used to be so cozy and unique. Now it looks just like any other restaurant, nothing to set it apart. Even worse, the food has gone downhill. My husband ordered a beer, only to find out they were out. Then I ordered a Reuben. My first two bites were nothing but blubber. Luckily, the following bites were ok, but it wasn't a great flavor. I decided to take the other half of the sandwich home, and was given a box. I boxed the sandwich, and waited while my husband finished his mussels. I kept getting a whiff of a bad smell. My husband said he couldn't smell anything, which made me realize it was coming from the box under my nose. It reeked! When he smelled the box, he said it smelled like garbage. I think it may have been made from recycled material, and unfortunately it still smelled like the garbage it was made from. I knew my sandwich was probably soaking up that stench, so I did take it home, but only to give my dogs. I noticed the couple that came in after us were commenting that some item they wanted was no longer on the menu either. It's a shame when something that was great gets ruined by "improvements".
