  • Checked this place out with fellow yelper Rachel S. while I was visiting her on the other side of the earth (aka middle of nowhere N. Las Vegas). It was one of the few dessert spots around her place and I wanted to see what the area had to offer. Yuki is a Thrifty ice cream shop + shaved ice stand (like the ones in Chinatown) combined. During our visit we ordered the 'Creamy Bun' which isn't nearly as fun as it sounds. Its a glazed donut warmed up and then stuffed with ice cream and toppings. Kinda like cookie sandwich but with a giant donut. While it sounded good in theory the actual product was pretty mediocre. The ice cream melted quickly and the donut itself was pretty bland. I didn't get a chance to try any of their shaved ice which probably would have been better. They also offer boba drinks and smoothies. Worth a second visit if I ever venture out there again.
