| - Loved the buffet. I went with my sister an hour after they opened for dinner on a Tuesday, which seemed to be the best time because WOOHOO no line whatsoever. Our hostess was quick and attentive and sat us at a booth, which I loved. The dining room is beautifully lit, and I loved that there was a bottle of mineral water right at the table already. Our handsome server came to us right away. One thing I don't care for: the grapefruit juice. I don't like grapefruit so idk why I got it. Moving on.
Dinner selection was great. Bone marrow, lamb, crab, and prime rib was yummy, I piled three plates and got to work! I also loved the fried rice in cute Chinese takeout boxes, vegetarian offerings, and bread and seafood selection. I'm more of a seafood lover than steak and red meat, so I appreciated it. We had to order smoked salmon with the chef at the cold meats station because it wasn't prepared for that night and they got it out to us right away. Sushi was also commendable for a buffet.
For dessert I tried one of everything that wasn't chocolate on chocolate. I loved the little cones and the sherbet, and the passion fruit and mango gelatos were ambrosial. The cheesecake and the creme brulee were amazing and not overly sweet. The white chocolate mousse was spot-on. Our server and the other servers were attentive and checked up on us consistently. Overall, my experience was great and I'm not a huge food snob so I have nothing negative to say about the price for the selection, I felt it was well worth it. I want to try the breakfast buffet next so I can add more to this review!
As we were leaving there was already a long line formed with people waiting to be seated. Hahaha.
