  • I love sushi and have tried many different sushi places but decided to give this place a shot, WORST mistake. I was really disappointed with not only the quality but the plating. I do believe people overhype this place a little too much or have just never tried GOOD sushi before. I usually don't post how bad the food is I just don't bother to go again, but not only was I upset at the food but the fact that I tried to beat it on time for lunch which still costs more than some better sushi spots on the strip which is 24.95 for lunch. First of all, the rolls had too much rice! The fish was unevenly cut, the rolls had no sauce nor garnishes that made it taste bland and look boring. The nigiri was the worst! The fish was too thick and chewy and had no flavor. I ordered the calamari and definitely was not what I expected. It was like three shrimp tempura looking things with terrible batter mix they used, they were not even crunchy but soggy. It made me not want to try any fried rolls since I'd probably lose my appetite even more. They didn't offer a variety of sushi bar sides but they did have a good variety of appetizers which my friend did enjoy since he doesn't like fish. Lastly, the dessert was only a choice of green tea ice cream or cookies and cream. For the price and quality I was paying I was definitely expecting something better like their special desserts which is only for dinner but should be offered all the time since better sushi spots like yama, gorilla, or goyeman have a better variety and quality for better or same price. Moral of the story, if it's gonna be your first time trying sushi, pick a different spot so you're not disappointed and never want to eat sushi again
