  • I just got my first tattoo ever at the age of 55, if you can believe it, at Ace Tattoo & Piercing. My people and I each got matching themed tattoos ( #semicolonproject ) and as I've been thinking of getting a piece done on my arm at some time in the near future I figured this would be a perfect introduction. John was phenomenal; very professional, detailed in his preparation and cleanliness and engaging in discussing how I wanted the small piece to look. I wasn't really nervous but really didn't know what to expect, discomfort-wise. Frankly it wasn't at all that bad. Granted it's a small piece on my inner wrist but I can honestly say I'll be getting another one in the future. Ace Tattoo is nicely laid out, clean and all the artists are great. Samples of their work can be found on the walls and in numerous albums located on the coffee table in the sitting area. It's small, intimate and just what I expected a shop to be. Check them out, you won't be disappointed. John's awesome.
