| - I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE LAUGHING BUDDHA! A few years ago, I was diagnosed with a couple of auto-immune disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis. It really knocked me down quite a few notches and affected me so much that it hurt to walk, stand, and lie down at times and I even had a handicap sign! After having arthroscopic procedures on my knee and ankle within 3 months of each other (and the possibility of having more), I needed a change - I did not want to feel pain anymore. Acupuncture helped a lot and I started going to yoga at another location. In November, I found this studio with the intention of maybe going once or twice a month. 6 months later, I'm going at least 5-8 times per week!
All of the instructors are awesome! They have exuberant yet calming personalities while also making sure you smile during your practice, especially when you start to feel some discomfort (not pain).
They have a wide variety of classes from yin/restorative to Ashtanga and Power Yoga. They offer community classes that benefit local charities. Their style of teaching challenges you physically with different variations of poses and sequences, but what I like best is that whenever I leave, I am inspired to be a better version of myself and try harder to see the good in others and stressful situations. I've never gone to a yoga studio that actually empowered me mentally and emotionally as Laughing Buddha has. I am so happy I found this place, it truly has changed my life.
First class is always free too! :)
