Now that we've found a better vet, my feelings about Aliante are confirmed. We brought our dogs in sometime in early August for routine vaccines and mentioned that our boxer had been scratching her head a lot. She was diagnosed with an ear infection, given meds, and we went home. There was no explanation as to how she would have acquired the ear infection. My husband and I both disliked the doctor that we worked with (and I don't recall his name) because he was very cold and standoff-ish and didn't really communicate with us whatsoever. We were instructed to bring our pup back, but my Dad passed within that time frame and we didn't make it back in. Her ear infection returned and she got a hematoma this time, so we checked out another vet who explained that the ear infections were caused by a food allergy. If the vet at Aliante had taken the time to dig deeper into her ear infection issue, she never would have gotten a hematoma and we wouldn't be out $550 for another vet visit. We won't be back.
