  • I've been to A LOT of doggy daycares in my day. This one took the cake. I'm not saying that my dogs need to be perched upon a silk dog bed with gourmet treats and have daily accupuncuture, don't get it twisted.... But I DO expect the place where I'm leaving them all day to not completely reek of urine. They are essentially in a concrete block room with a concrete floor, a fan, and water fountains. There's access to some sort of doggie pool out back that I could not see from where I was standing. There was only one girl there with ~7ish dogs. And she was on the internet in the office when I showed up, not even playing with or supervising the dogs. I had to wait until I riled the dogs up enough for her to notice that I was even there. I even noted that one of the dogs had a pretty gnarly gash on his butt that appeared to be a bite. No big deal... There's no way I'm ever leaving my three dogs in their care. Not even for a minute. Time to explore the other options Pittsburgh has to offer. Such a shame since it's connected to a vet and like 3 minutes from my house.
