| - When they say "Now" they don't mean it.
I brought my computer in because it was running slow. You have 3 options for repairs : $59 for 3-5 day service, $79 for 2 days, and $99 for the "1 day guarantee"
I need my computer for work and since, it was a Thursday and weekends are my busy days for clients, I opted for the 1day guarantee. I figured that worse comes to worst, I'd get my computer when they open on Saturday if the work ran long.
I dropped my computer off on Thursday and called around 12:30pm on Friday to get an update on what was wrong and when I can pick up the computer. I was told that it would be ready in an hour. I had a few things to do that day, so I didn't make it to the store until 3:45. When I got there, I was told that they found something thing in the operating system where they have to re-install windows. Fine. I understand that things can come up, but it would have been nice if they called me somewhere in that 4 hour window so that I didn't have to drive in the opposite corner of town. I was a little annoyed, but I choked it up as a little mistake. I asked them when it would be ready and they said " probably by the end of the day" I told them that would be fine and I'll just pick it up at noon on Saturday.
I got a call from them later in the day (Friday) saying that they just found out that the hard drive is damaged so that they need to replace that. Again, Fine. I gave them the go-ahead for the parts and they said that they'll call on Saturday for an update. Saturday comes and goes with no phone call. Sunday, they're closed. On Monday, I called them around noon and they said that it is not yet ready and to call after 3pm. Again, fine. I called back around 315 and they said that it's ready now so I drive across town again. When I get there just around 4, they said that it's NOT ready yet and it's going to be just another 10 mins- that was almost an hour ago. I'm still waiting. It's disrespectful to the customer's time.
Right now, I'm out 3 days of work, and I have no idea why I paid an extra $40 for the 1 day guarantee. WTF does that even mean now?
