Joe Johnson is such a caring man and I love how he always look after his community. Not too many restaurateur have that type of commitment. That being said, I like coming to Joe's during non-peak hours so I don't have to wait in that slow moving line. The bbq here is a hit & miss. Sometimes the ribs & chicken are too dry other time they are good. The 2 different sauces help it go down. The sides are nothing special, but apple crisp dessert is worth a try. The service is down to earth. I really like the ambiance of this place. Kids are allow to run as much as in the outside yard without anyone giving you dirty looks. The prices are good. I like bringing my out of town guest here (as long as they're not from a BBQ country)
