aside from the things mentioned by other reviewers that i haven't tried, they have quite a few different chocolate bars here.
they're 45 grams, about 1.5 ounces each, and are scored to have 10 pieces of chocolate per bar. at $3.50 each, it's easy to get all caught up and want to try a bunch. i did just that, and am highlighting the best and the worst of the bunch.
i love it when chocolate places have single origin chocolates, so you can compare the flavors of chocolate from different countries or regions. there are several single origin chocolate bars here. my favorite was the venezuelan.
the dark chocolate with hazelnuts was excellent and the slight crunch reminded me a little bit of a high end kit kat.
the chili cayenne was far spicier than the other chocolate and chili combinations i've tried in the past. you really feel a (pleasant) light burn on the back of your tongue.
the dark chocolate with caramel was the only bar i tried that had a soft liquid inside. it tasted like it was made 10 minutes before i tried it and was luxurious. i wish i'd bought more to bring home with me.
the dark chocolate and thyme was just as awful as i expected it to be. i had harbored some hope that it might surprise me, win me over, but the only thing it had me doing was rushing for a glass of water to try to get the taste out of my mouth. my friend summed it up best: "oh...oh.... yuck!"
3.5 stars overall.
