Fine if you need basic cleanings but when they uncover "problems" with your teeth via X-rays or checkups (legit or not), WATCH YOUR WALLET. Their pitch to you on procedures (crowns, deep cleanings, bridges, whitening, etc.) is almost identical to what you will get at a used car lot (complete with Cheshire-cat grins while they're shilling you). Look, I get it: Dental practices need to sell procedures to keep their doors open and make a healthy profit. But Floss' pricing/proposals are NOT transparent. For example I was quoted a price for a crown with a lifetime guarantee. The price of the crown without a lifetime guarantee was 50 percent less but THEY WONT GIVE YOU THAT OPTION UNLESS YOU ASK. So: Ask a lot of questions and get 2nd opinions from another dentist before you say yes. Also...
Before I consented to getting a crown, I asked how long it would take - their answer was 45 minutes (it took 1.5 hours). Also, they never told me (until the job was completed) that it was for a temporary crown, nor that it would take 2 weeks for the permanent crown to arrive. These are details they deliberately removed from their "pitch" to me. Buyer beware!
