| - I am surprised this place is sitting on four stars only. This is the best coffee joint in town, period.
Explaining: Starbucks, being the largest coffee buyer in the world, buys predominantly B Grade coffee, there simply isn't enough A Grade coffee to supply Starbucks and the chains alike. So Starbucks ends up over roasting its coffee by two extra minutes to achieve the taste, but all it does is burns the coffee.
Then you have the gourmet coffee shops on the strip who mostly use illy (A Grade) brand, which is really good, BUT, it takes months for the coffee to be grinded, canned and shipped to the US from Italy, and there you have it, second best, old coffee.
Now this little shop uses a vendor, who imports very small batches of A Grade, very select coffee beans from various parts of the planet depending on the season.
Coffee is roasted locally every Saturday, then delivered to this little coffee shop on Sunday.
I personally buy my espresso beans here. The staff is knowledgeable enough to understand the type of espresso machine I'm using, and how to grind my beans.
CONS:
Live music by up and coming artists is good, maybe a little too loud for the space constrained coffee shop. They have pastries imported from Paris if I am not mistaken, I wish they used local vendors, it would have been fresher and better for the community.
So now you know :)
