When there is a problem- that is when a company or product truly gets tested. I am very sad to be writing this review. I have used this company 4 times in the past 3 years and couldn't have been happier until this weekend.
We had my son's 3rd birthday party scheduled this Sunday September 25 at 4 pm. Two guys showed up at 6 pm when the party was in full swing to pick up the jumper. You can read on their website the rental period is supposed to be for 6 hours. When I told them that there must be some mistake that the party had just started 2 hours ago they called their boss. I don't know if it was an owner or manager or what his name was.
I was put on the phone with the boss and was told that I scheduled the bouncer for 4-6 PM. I told him that that was incorrect and I thought there was a standard rental time. He then told me that he confirmed the time with me when the bouncer was dropped off. I told him no- when it was dropped off there was a babysitter at the house. Then he changed his story and said he confirmed the pick up time with me when he scheduled the drop off of the bounce house. I again told him no- I received a voice mail with the drop off information and it didn't mention a pick up time. I asked him if he would like me to play the voice message for him (I still have this saved on my phone). He said no, it wasn't necessary because when I booked the bounce house with him I told him 6 pm or otherwise he wouldn't have written down that time. I told him no- I booked the bounce house with a female and not him. If 6 pm was written down by someone in his company then it was a mistake.
He then said, "Listen lady, I deal with people like you all the time. You made a mistake and now you are trying to make me look like the bad guy. You can either pay more for an extension or we are taking the bouncer now."
Well I sure wasn't going to provide this company another dime of my money after being treated like that. So the company took the bouncer back in the middle of the party.
I had no written contract. Why would I pay the price to rent for only 2 hours? Besides taking the bouncer away in the middle of the party I can't believe the way I was treated on the phone. I am generally the type of person that if I have a problem I take it up with the company directly but in this case I don't even know if it was the owner or another employee that treated me that way on the phone so I will not be trying to contact this company to make this right.
