  • Oh my goodness! I am so happy to finally get to try this place. I've heard so many good things about this place prior to coming here. After coming here, I can definitely see what the hype is all about. My boyfriend is a big fan of Cajun/ creole food, so I figured I would take him out for dinner here. Mmm we both LOVE it! I've driven on highland so often but I've never noticed this place being here, it is kind of hidden. The atmosphere here is great and intimate. Perfect for a date night! I would say it is a pretty small place, so I would definitely recommend a reservation in advance. We came here without one and did not get seating, but we don't mind sitting at the bar :) It is pretty cool watching the staff making the oysters. For food, we ordered hush puppies, lobster roll, and seafood gumbo. AMAAZING! We pretty much cleared the plates in less than ten minutes. I love the little kicks to the seafood gumbo. It is probably my favorite. The lobster roll is so fresh, also the fries that came with it is so well seasoned. The hush puppies is so flavorful, we are def big fans of these. The price is a little higher than my normal going out dinner. (Broke graduate student.. ya know?) However, after trying their food, I would say without a doubt worth every penny. I would def come here again, maybe for a special occasion.
