  • I used to absolutely love Mixers. I've been here ever since the old owners and the boba has always been good. The ice cream is still the best (which I have tried just about every flavor with every topping) and in middle school, my friends and I walked here almost everyday after school. I've been a loyal customer but it's a shame how things turn out. The remodeling and the extensive menu is great but I remember from the first owners to the second owner who was this Chinese lady and they were super sweet. I felt a connection to them but when the second owner had to sell the store for very personal reasons, I had no idea that the new owners were also Chinese but kind of rude. I used to always order their Thai tea slush with boba but the slush tastes cheesy? There's no other way to describe it. I even taste a big difference in the boba and it's bland. I tried to substitute for their ice creams and gelatos but when I got toppings on my ice cream, they were stale! Then this one time when I was paying, I handed the employee my card and she told me to put it on this separate card swiper and told me to choose how much to tip her. I was thinking to myself, "What if I didn't want to??" And there was no skip option so I tipped her a dollar. I really want to give them another chance because I made so many memories here but it seems to only be good for the memories. Sadly, I won't be coming back.
