Seriously? It's 97 degrees outside and I need some gas in my car. I go to use my Capital One card cause, yeah, that's what's in my wallet and I rather enjoy racking up all those points. I pull up to the gas pumps, try to scan my card and I'm asked if it's debit. I press No and am told to go inside to see the clerk. I'm figuring they're just being extra cautious and need to see ID for a credit card transaction. I can appreciate that-no problem at all. However, I go inside and am told that they don't take credit at all for gas. Debit or cash only. Whaaaaaa???
What the literal hell? And I say literal hell cause as I mentioned above, it's 97 degrees outside and I'm hot-figuratively and literally. And the figurative part is hot as in mad. Annoyed. Pissed.
Can't they make a sign at the pumps that they don't take credit? Or even tell me after I swipe my card at the pump rather than instructing me to trek inside (in 97 degree heat, I repeat).
Boo. Boo for poor customer service. Boo for not taking credit for gas. Boo. Boo. Boo. Who does that?!
