  • My dog needed a life saving surgery. My normal vet quoted me $5,000. Being a senior dog we couldn't justify the cost as much as it pained us. A friend referred me to Gateway for a second opinion. They immediately diagnosed the condition, and asked if another vet had seen him and quoted the surgery cost. I said "yes" and the vet said "let me guess $5,000." They offered to do the surgery for $500 assuming all pre-op blood work came back satisfactory ensuring our dog would survive the operation. Unfortunately the blood work results showed organ failure and surgery was no longer an option and we had to put our little guy down. This shows you the integrity of the staff of Gateway. I'm very grateful for everything they did for us.
