| - As soon as I walked in, I was assisted. I was asked to choose a gel polish and then I waited at the bar for the pedicurist. A gentleman came up & asked me to choose a "pack" no idea what it was for but I did. The "pack" I later found out was for your pedicure. Then I was asked to sit on the chair and I waiting another 5 minutes for the pedicurist. The lady came and she started her work. About 10 minutes into it, another lady came and she started working on my hands. I had both ladies working on my mani and pedi. When the pedicurist was about to finish, another girl came and painted my nails. Right before the pedicurist left, she mentioned that a large party of 12 were coming in that day in about a hour. This explained why I had two girls working simultaneously on me. The girl that painted my nails, did them quickly and my manicurist kept switching the shellac machine back & forth just rushing through. I get that they had a party coming in but this was a Saturday and I was expecting to come in & relax a bit but I gotta admit I felt like I needed to rush with them.
The mani and pedi were great, I even got complimented on my mani, which rarely happens since I always just get a basic mani. They give you a message on both your legs and hands and that's really nice. I was offered something to drink and overall the girls were nice.
The Actual Job - The edges on my pedi could have been cleaned more and there are some slight "air" bubbles on two of my finger nails. Additionally, the pedicurist did not scrub my feet much or around my calluses.
I know, I am over analyzing the job but this is why, I've NEVER paid $90 for a shellac mani and regular pedi. Back home for the same job I paid $60 and no, this isn't some small town, home is Miami, FL. Where breathing is expensive. I might have paid $90 when I got my gel claw nails (artificial nails) with a pedi, glass of wine & the same massage for that price.
Would I return? The service was ok but I don't think it was worth $90.
