  • My wife and I have been SPG fans ever since we booked our wedding at a Westin, and this was our first time staying at a W brand hotel. We were looking to stay in the most entertaining part of Scottsdale and we were pleasantly surprised by the location (close all the popular bars and restaurants in Scottsdale). The check-in and valet process went very smoothly. Although the room was very small, it was very sleek and clean. We definitely love more modern looking hotels and this was no exception. We did have just a minor hiccup at the hotel. During our first day at the pool, we didn't have a single server approach use or even acknowledge us to take food or a drink orders. We complained to a manager who promptly took care of us. Our entire food and drink bill was comped which was greatly appreciated. Other than that, we were happy with our stay at the W Scottsdale.
