Pros:
TVs situated all over the place
Friendly staff
Cons:
There are times where you can't find any staff
Came here to watch the Raptors dispatch the Heat in game 7 of their playoff series. We were here because we had a soccer game in the area before the Raptors game. I don't think the place has its own parking spots, but if you know Coxwell, there's plenty of street parking right outside.
This is a pretty decent sized place. There are plenty of tables and plenty of TVs as well. I don't think there is a table in the entire place that doesn't have a good view to one of the TVs they have here. This makes is a pretty good place to catch sports games. We ordered the nachos and the prime rib special they had on Sundays. I wish I taken pictures of the prime rib but I was too into watching the game that I forgot. It was a pretty good looking dish and for $18, well worth it. The nachos were pretty good too. They're not the best, but they won;t disappoint either.
They have a good selection of beverages here to choose from. I liked that all their beers were very well described in the menu. I'm not the most knowledgeable beer drinker so it was nice to see the descriptions there. Carlsberg is probably my favourtie beer so props to this place for carrying it on tap.
The staff here were all pretty friendly and helpful. The problem is that sometimes its hard to find said staff. There were just periods where you couldn't find any staff. Sometimes, there were staff from the kitchen that had to bring out food because there were just no waitresses to be found. When were trying to pay, we had to bother the bartender at the bar table because we couldn't find anybody else for about 5-10 minutes. I don;t know if this is a staffing problem on their part, but it was really strange.
All in all, it's a nice place to go and catch the game. Everything is good as long as you can find staff around for anything you need.
