We live very close to this little gem in the Ancala Village Shopping Center. Yes, it's small, and when the snowbirds are in residence, it can be tight seating, but its bistro feel and wildly fresh food make it worth it. We like to eat early anyway, so we've never had a problem.
Having just moved permanently from CT to Scottsdale, we tried Tesoro after a year's hiatus. The new owners delivered delicious meals and to-die-for hot Italian bread to my husband and me, and though our server Fabio was a bit quiet at first, once we got talking, he was warm and friendly.
We loved the chicken and veal parmigiana; my salad (including the tangy dressing) was fantastic. We'll try other entrees next time. Plenty of parking available.
