Our fair isn't the most amazing state fair in the country but it's pretty good! There is a wide selection of rides for most ages, games, and food. Man can the food be good! They have shows and lots of items for sale as well.
Expect to pay anywhere from $10-$20 for parking. There is parking at the fair itself along with lots of private lots surrounding the fair that will let you park there for the aforementioned fee.
As an Arizona native I make sure to go to the fair at least once a year, it's tradition! I make sure to come hungry to get at least one type of fun food. The variety they have is crazy! I see at least one new idea every year.
Prices for the rides have definitely gone up this year. They have free wristband days but boy do those get crazy.
The most recent visit we had happened to be the evening of "seniors day" and it was great. There wasn't that many people there so we could walk around freely (instead of being shoulder to shoulder). Food was fast and delicious. Rides were fun. They have a new Ferris wheel ride!
The fair in my opinion is always worth checking out even if you don't intend to play. There's lots of things to do and see. With that being said the prices are pretty steep. I heard that they are looking for ways to make the fair bigger, better, and with more amenities which is something that I look forward to since the demand is always high.
