  • I am so absurdly happy with my haircut I received from Deanna!!! I have been researching salons extensively for several weeks in anticipation of my big chop. I had thick, waist length hair and hadn't had a hair cut in several years so I was so nervous. I chose 20 Volume salon 75% based on their yelp reviews and 25% based on the fact they are an Aveda salon (I use Aveda products at home). Well, they sure did live up to their reviews!! When I called to set up the appointment I asked if anyone in particular was good with thick hair and I was assured everyone would be okay working with my type of hair. So I let the receptionist put me with the first available. Deanna was who I ended up with and she sat me down and we spoke about what I wanted. I showed her some pictures I found of the kind of cut I wanted but with modifications even to that. She nodded her head and seemed like she knew exactly what I was talking about but I was still nervous when she started chopping away. She told me what she was doing the entire time and I really just trusted her judgement. When she finished, it was like she took the picture I had in my head of how I wanted my hair to look and worked her magic on it. I was like a giddy little kid on Christmas morning! I have definitely found my new hairdresser I've never been so happy with a hair cut! Thank you so much Deanna for a great experience and I will see you in a couple months!!
