I saw Dr. David Roberts about a hand problem. He was nice initially but really did not help with any of my problems and maintained that i would have to come back frequently to have simple stretches and massages done which did nothing but aggravate my problem. When i expressed my concerns about my slow recovery and other problems that had arisen he instigated that i was "telling him how to do his job" and my visits after that were met with hostility. On my last visit i requested he refer me to see a sports med doctor at the U of C which he said he would then called me 3 weeks later to say that I'd need to get my family doctor to make the referral. Maybe they don't take this guy seriously? Will never go back there again. Waste of money and seemed interested in getting me out of there as quickly as possible. I later started seeing Dr. Scott Sherman at the Panther Sports medicine clinic who in one visit took an hour with me diagnosed all my problems including stuff that had been shrugged off by others. By the end of the visit he had addressed every problem and told me they hoped it was my last visit (in a jovial way) and that i shouldn't need to come back and i must agree that they handled my problems so professionally. About me, i am a wrestler looking to be the best plus i do Olympic weightlifting, self trained mixed martial arts, climbing and some strongman training.
