| - Nachos are one of the most hit-or-miss foods on a pub menu. Either you get a soggy clump of limp tortilla chips covered in beef that looks like cat food and cheese that feels like plastic and "sides" like guacamole, salsa, and sour cream that costs EXTRA...
Or you get the Nachos from Cadillac Lounge. In a piping hot skillet, crispy well seasoned Nachos are piled high with melted cheese layered throughout. Delicious peppers are hidden among the chips like little treasures waiting to be found and consumed. The topping we chose for an extra $3 was pulled pork, and it was even more impressive than the chips; Tender, sweet and smoky, and a very generous amount for the extra couple of bucks.
They delivered guacamole, sour cream and salsa on the side at no extra cost. I found myself being conservative with the side toppings because they seemed to be a little on the light side, but in the end I had plenty left over so maybe j misjudged.
The service was friendly, and the back patio where we sat looked like it could be a pretty cool music venue at night. Overall this nacho experience was way up there and, dare I say, rivaled Sneaky Dees?!?
Oh, I do dare say. I do.
