| - I was excited to get my nails done since it was for my vacation, but I wasn't so thrilled about the overall experience. I decided to go with bio gel nails which came up to $77 including tip. When you pay that much you would expect good service, but everything felt extremely rushed. When I first got there, I did not feel welcomed as the staff weren't very friendly. I felt rushed choosing the colour and the girl doing my nails seemed pretty impatient and annoyed so I had to quickly pick whatever colour she showed me.
I understand that the salon was busy, but don't rush through my nails because you want to take your next client asap. The girl didn't even push back my cuticles until AFTER she applied/cured the gel nails. What the heck? I'm paying you $77 for a fast and rough job? She would start with the left hand filing/painting/doing whatever, and then when she moved to the right she would rush through it so fast, half the time she spent on the left. Through all that, I was surprised that the end result looked decent, but nothing amazing. Definitely not worth the amount I paid. After a week, the nail tips on my thumb and index fingers were lifting which was very disappointing.
Also, she filed down my nails so much that after I got my nails removed, they were extremely brittle, bending backwards and ripping down to the nail bed which hurt a lot. I had to buy my own gel nail kit to protect my nails from ripping even further until the damaged part grows out. It's been more than a month and half since I got them done and my nails are still destroyed. I don't recommend this place.
