Went for a walk in Plaza with my sister and her 2 year old when we decided to check this place out. I'd heard good things but wanted to see what was up.
The place wasn't too busy, seemed like a typical Wednesday crowd, however you could see how some people were anxiously awaiting their food. Our 2 year old was asleep, so we figured we would give it a shot. Sadly the experience wasn't any different for us.
Server told us to seat ourselves and then they forgot about us. Got our own menu from the bar, so took about 15-20 min to put our order in and get waters.
We waited over an hour for a pancake, a cup of fruit, & a salad. We tried to cancel our order after my nephew woke up fussy and we had already been waiting for a good 50 min. As we made this request one server whispered to another and then another server came rushing out of the back with our food.
We heard multiple excuses about how some orders got mixed up and as well as the ticket printer wasn't working; however we weren't told any of this until after we requested for our order to be cancelled.
Future reference to this situation: Communicate this to your customer so they know what to expect and can level with you.
The boxed up food to-go got the stars in this review, the service definitely did not.
