UPDATE: Manager called within a hour of my review to resolve any issues I had. He listened to my concerns and came to a fair solution with myself. Again, the guys did a great job and had minimal damage in comparison to other moves. Time was biggest issue and I think it was fairly compromised.
This review has to do with the company as a whole, and not the guys that moved me. I am Realtor and enjoy trying new companies. After finding them on yelp, I thought it would be a good change from what I had referred in the past.
I was originally given a bid of 2-4 hours at $ an hour. Kind of was thinking 500 would be worst case scenario. All my things were nicely packed and I am a minimalist in general. I was told that the gentlemen would be in a window from 12-3. The movers showed up at nearly 6. The guys were VERY good about wrapping things. Had minimal damage which was best part of move. We didn't end up leaving the first house until after 11. Second place was no more then 10 minute drive down the road. Had given my building a move in warning of around 6, (typically can't move in past 9pm) so it was nice they let us move the things in without fine. The movers were finally done at 2:30-3 am. Ended up losing most of my work day Friday and Saturday due To the hours. To end a really long night I was planted with a bill of 1k dollars. I could have had two friends help me and do the same job in 3 hours for barely anything but wanted to spare asking someone to give up a Friday afternoon.
Long story short the gal called to see how my move went. I was honest and said liked the guys but was disappointed with overall move. She agreed and was going to have someone call. No one did. Called back several days later to see if they had discussed the event and again I was told they would call back after I spoke with manager. Never heard back. Would hire the gentleman that helped but would never use the company again.
