Hard to think of a restaurant that has survived in downtown Tempe as long as Restaurant Mexico. Well, I guess Chuckbox and Jack In The Box should be recognized as well, but they weren't forced to move from place to place because of "progress" and redevelopment. Anyhow, the current location is basic and service remains decent. The real star of the show is the food. The enchiladas rule and the guacamole is yummy. This is a cool place. Props to them for hanging in there and outlasting most corporate chains in the area.
