We had Chas Roberts come out to look at our air handler as it began to make a vibrating noise one evening. They sent a tech out the next day after scheduling online. Tech gave us a list of repairs that needed to be done to the system due to it's age along with items that needed to be cleaned (coils & condensation drain line). Due to money we decided just to do the cleaning at the time to see if it would help with the noise issue as the tech suggested it could possibly help. The tech cleaned the coils and flushed the clogged condensation line and replaced the p-trap. However, when he replaced the p-trap he didn't seal the one pipe correctly and later in the day we noticed a leak in our kitchen ceiling. We called Chas Roberts and they sent out another tech later that evening and he correctly replaced the p-trap and ensured there were no leaks. The next day we received a call from one of the service tech managers apologizing for the issue and offered to repair one of the items on the list of repairs they originally quoted us for, for free due to the hassle and tech error. While there was a little bit of hassle initially Chas Roberts fully owned up to the error and did right by the customer and correct it as well as fixed the issue we initially called about. We went from originally wanting to do a 1 star review to now a 4 star review for their willingness to correct their mistake up front and not making it a customer battle to get the issue corrected. Only reason for not leaving a 5 star review is is just due to the inconvenience we were put through. We would still recommend them to friends and family and will use them again in the future.
