I used to be a much bigger fan of this hotel. It's still fine, but the walls are paper thin (I had quite the "romantic" neighbors to listen to for quite a bit with no sound barrier) But hey, there's no way for the hotel to really control that. The real reason for the lonely 3 stars is the disappointing breakfast. This Garden Inn used to have such a good breakfast buffet! Now they don't even let you go get your food, you have to order it and they have taken all the good, hot food and made it really tasteless. So very sad.. With 2 other Hilton brands all within a few blocks of this one, I'll probably use another one moving forward when in Champaign.
