It took me 10yrs to step into this store but better late than never. It's a little overwhelming at first sight, just as Lauren H. mentioned, but once you start browsing, you realize that shopping here is manageable. There is a respectable variety of dresses for all formal occasions and because I was on a budget, I headed for the discount racks rather quickly. There are a lot of them, thank goodness. I noted that many of the dressed have been extensively man handled, so you need to look closely to find one in your size AND in good condition. However, the fashion gods were smiling at me because I found four items that looked fabulous, three of them fit like a glove and I bought two of them at a cost of $105. All right! *Insert voice of Quagmire from Family Guy*
One of the outfits is actually a one piece jumpsuit with embellishments on the top. It was the only one of its kind in the store so it's good to know you can find something unique if you look hard enough.
Only one woman was working but I didn't feel I missed out on customer service while she was dealing with others, as I was pretty low maintenance.
I highly recommend trying NY Fashions on for size, as it's nice to not have to wade through a mall to find a pretty dress.
