  • Love the flavor, dripping bagel mess, and energy. This place was totally buzzing with people in a happy frenzy to get what they clearly already knew would be incredible one Saturday afternoon. (Embarrassingly) this Madisonian had never been to Gotham but had an inkling what I was missing. I'd attempted visits in the past, but learned upon arrival they closed early in the day. So happy to learn they also have a location in Sun Prairie. Staff moved quickly. Water was free and cold on a hot day; other beverages were expensive but looked fresh. Bathroom required a key; restaurant in general could've used a cleaning but after 5 hours of fast-paced service, it was understandable. Areas for improvement - Additional seating; those around us were standing but we got a seat quickly. Prices are a little steep at 8 or 9+ for a bagel sandwich a la carte. Longer hours; I would actually love this late at night and in the early morning the most.
