  • My favorite pick is Mac n' Cheese. I just love eating at this café on Thursday or Friday nights while listening to a groovy local jazz band. Get ready to be surprised by the menu and the music. Warm soul food and funky blues. The best kept secret: if you stay late enough, the waitress becomes a sassy jazz singer. Totally unexpected. Tip: Get there early (before 6 p.m.) because it can get really crowded and finding a table becomes a skill. The Griffintown café is not only good for eats, but its jazz concerts are a must. Thank God the Griffintown café is in the area. It spices up the vibe in this upcoming *hot* hood for yuppies.
