The hotel itself was clean, modern, and centrally located in the heart of downtown. It was easily accessible from the thruway, a block from the nearest subway station and a 10 minute walk to the Eaton Centre. The room was spacious and included the basics. My biggest complaint and probably only complaint was the fact that they charged me for parking, even though we parked in a public lot across the street.
When we arrived the Valet attendant practically followed us around and had us sign a form for the car and advised we could valet park it or self park across the street. We chose to self park across the street and paid a small fee at the paking meter for the entire weekend. To leave the car there for the weekend it was $37. Upon receiving our bill for checkout we noticed that we had been charged two day's. This happened becasue they had us sign a form because we choose to self park. We brought this to the attention of the hotel staff and after much debate they ended up waiving the fee. But how many other people didn't read their bill and ending up paying this fee? READ YOUR BILL. When you arrive they will ask you to either do valet $35 or self park $29 in the public parking lot which is right across the street. Do not sign anything. Just say that you will find a spot. Then just go across the street and park and pay the meter.
Overall, I have to say minus this incident we will most certainly return to stay again. Its right in the middle of everything.
