  • I only gave 2 stars because of a couple issues I've had with this location. First, the positive aspects about this place. I was able to get an appointment scheduled fairly quickly( like within a couple days, not a couple weeks out). I love that the eye exam is free if you purchase two pairs of glasses. It came out to be the same amount as I paid for one pair of glasses I had gotten a year prior. Now, I have to say, I am a forgetful person so when I had purchased insurance for my glasses one year ago, I completely forgot about it. I have been wearing my scratched glasses all year long not knowing that I Could have brought them in to get a completely new set. My insurance had expired on February 8th this year. ... I'm upset because I never received a phone call to remind me that my insurance was about to expire or that my prescription was about to expire... I understand that this is a busy office but maybe they should have someone calling clients about their prescriptions or insurances that are about to expire. So a couple days ago, when I came in for my eye exam, I looked at a few glasses on display and literally every single pair I picked up was so disgustingly dirty. Covered in makeup and who knows what else. One of the receptionists, was helpful with my paperwork but was not customer service friendly. After I got called back to perform the initial exam, the assistant was very sweet and friendly. The only down part of it was the extra $15 for an extra eye exam procedure to see if you had any underlying symptoms of possible eye sight problems. (I paid it just to be safe). Of course it came back fine. Then I saw the doctor. He was kind but very quiet or shy. I asked him about my glasses being adjusted and he said they'll help me out front. As I was waiting to be checked out, I spoke again with the unfriendly receptionist and she said that there was nothing that could be done for me to use my insurance to fix my glasses unless I wanted to pay an extra $99. ... I was so upset. I sat down and started to cry silently. And wiped away my tears before they came to check me out. The last employee I dealt with at first seemed very nice until I brought up my insurance lapsing and how I have a bad memory and how I wished someone would have called to remind me. He just seem to go cold on me and said there's nothing he can do for me. And proceeded to try and up sell me with everything possible on my two pairs of glasses. I said no, I don't want the insurance again because I most likely won't remember and no one will call me to remind me so no. He didn't even look at me In The eyes. Which I feel is a form of disrespect. I left crying, feeling cheated and so upset with the service I had just received. I understand that the world doesn't revolve around me or that I should have been compensated for anything. I just wished the staff would have made me feel a little comfortable and understanding about the situation. I mean even if they said "I'll speak with my manager and see if there's anything we can do for you" would have made me feel so much better. The majority of my experience was unpleasant. I felt pressured to buy more add ons to my glasses and i felt like there wasn't any customer service friendliness or understanding. I can't wait to pick up my glasses and never go back.
